Barcelona, Reconnection & the Return of Alignment

Dear reader,

Welcome to the very first edition of the FREEDOM Coaching newsletter.
It feels meaningful that this begins right here, in Barcelona — a city that is opening doors, circles, and alignments at a speed I can barely keep up with.

This past month has been about one theme: returning to what is true.
Reconnection.
Healing.
Integration.
And stepping into the next level of freedom.

Reconnecting & Completing Circles

I recently reconnected with two of my closest friends — one from 2019, one from 2006. These aren’t everyday friendships; they are soul-connections that reappear exactly when the timing is right.

With each conversation came fresh insight, new energy, and a sense that something inside me clicked back into place.
A softening.
A remembering.
A return to wholeness.

This morning, that softness showed up again when I witnessed an old wounded part of myself react to a situation in the house where I’m currently staying. And yet, behind it, a deeper presence appeared — the part of me that was never hurt.
The part that knows I’ve always been whole.

Holding both sides at once created a small moment of healing… and these are the moments that change everything.

Life in Barcelona Is Taking Shape

I arrived on November 6th to volunteer for two weeks, and I’ve now had three weeks of stable rent — a grounding I’ve needed for a long time.

It’s not perfection; I still move between places and Airbnbs, but something about Barcelona carries the energy of “home for now.”
And it’s giving me exactly the foundation I need to build FREEDOM Coaching.

A New Name, A New Chapter

I officially shifted my business name to FREEDOM Coaching, and it feels like a perfect match for the person I’ve become since 2023.

More intuitive.
More aligned.
More free.

A Sign at L’Hivernacle

A workspace opened for me at L’Hivernacle, and the synchronicities around it have been undeniable.

When I lived in Zeeland, I went from broke to making 106K+, and I’ve always carried that number as a reminder of what alignment can create. Back then I drove two Smart cars — metallic blue and grey — until they, along with that entire chapter, were taken from me.

So when I walked up to L’Hivernacle and saw two Smart cars — metallic blue and grey — parked outside in the exact same colors… something inside me paused.

A sign.
A wink.
A reminder that what was taken can return in a higher form.

The owner and I share the same vision:
Silence retreats.
Self-care days.
Workshops for healthcare and corporate teams.
A place where people can recalibrate into themselves.

And yes — I can see the next 106K+ taking shape already.

What’s Next

I found a beautiful coliving near L’Hivernacle for €240/week, which means the physical environment is aligning as strongly as the inner one.

From here, the year ahead will focus on:

• Reconnection workshops
• Silence & self-care retreats
• Corporate well-being days
• 1:1 transformational coaching
• Building a community of freedom seekers

Everything is unfolding.
Everything is reconnecting.
Everything is circling back — this time in freedom.

Handling truth - One More Story… My mother finally kicked my father out of her house. She was over 80. Unhappy for at least 40 years. And I — her daughter — gave her permission. I told her she had the right. I showed her it could be done by living my life.  That moment changed everything for both of us. Because in 2015, I had already done the same. I had kicked my husband out of my home in Arnhem. Three years of marriage, a lifetime of trying to fix someone who wasn’t mine to fix. I told him:  "Take your child to your parents. Grow a brain."   Sex, Sensuality, and Femininity As I walk into this house in Busot— where my newly made female friend lives— I am introduced to  shameless nudity . She is hot in the summer heat of South Spain.  And so walks around half-naked most of the time. This is her freedom. To walk. To be seen. To exist as she chooses. Her boyfriend has grown used to it. But to me, it’s a foreign act— to take off the top, leave the underwear on, and live in fullness. Without shame. Without covers. Without masks. Own your 50+ body. What are we still ashamed of?
